Mass Effect Brings Down The Sky Today

The first downloadable content for Mass Effect is now available for you space faring gamers to download. The pack, "Bring Down the Sky", will set you back 400 Microsoft Points. The price doesn't sound too bad, how about this:
"Bring Down the Sky" includes a new uncharted world that introduces the Batarians: a notorious and feared alien race. A Batarian extremist group has hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Only Commander Shepard can save the millions of innocent civilians before the asteroid completes its deadly descent.
The announcement also had a note that the gameplay adds about 90 minutes worth of action and an Achievement worth 50 points. Having read that, are you going to get it? Have you already downloaded it? What's it like? No more questions!

I whole-heartedly disliked doing sidequests in Mass Effect. I can't see paying for one when bringing myself to do the ones already in the game proved difficult. What's more, the appeal of DLC diminishes for me with so many great games on the horizon.
On the other hand, I'd be interested in hearing from someone whose already payed for a played those 90-minutes. Were they worthwhile?
Bought it, played it, thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was basically like adding another Noveria or Feros (main mission) to the game. Which was welcome after completing those missions three times now.
Buuuuttt for non "die-hard" ME fans, you're not missing too much if you don't get it, although the batarians are certainly fleshed out. If you're a lore geek, it's worth the price of admission.
