My Life As A King Launches Alongside WiiWare, Costs $15

Square Enix has priced and dated it's upcoming WiiWare title, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, according to Nintendo news site The Wiire. Gamers in North America can expect to download and play the title on the first day Wiiware is available, May 12th, at a cost of 1500 Wii points, or $15.
Think it will be worth it? $15 puts it about $5 out of the impulse range for me, so I'll need to hear more about the game before I commit valuable points to this purchase. It definitely looks cute, and different from what I'd expect from a Crystal Chronicles title, but I'm a bit concerned about the longevity, or rather, it's ability to keep me invested. Still, the obese Moogles are a nice touch. Hopefully most WiiWare titles will stay in the $5-10 range, but if WiiWare ends up being a new source of innovative and interesting games, I'll pay whatever they're asking.

So....like, are they just gonna cram all the budget titles onto Wii Ware now? Cuz that would be nice, so that stores won't have to make room for that shit anymore and can just carry more copies of Smash Bros.
Also, still no announcement on more storage for these games? Shame on you lazy ass Nintendo.
Eh... $15 is too much. I had trouble dropping 1,200 points on Puzzle Quest for the 360 and I actually liked the game but it was still too much.
I went to the GDC panel talking about this game. It seems as though they are working hard to make sure that the title has enough content to justify the price. The video/visuals alone look more polished than most of the XBLA/PSN offerings IMO. While the lack of a demo kinda makes that initial jump a little harder than the standard XBLA fare, I don't think that $15 is too ridiculous.
Between this and the $5 Defend Your Castle (which looks awesome btw), I'm glad that Wiiware is going to be offering a variety of titles at a good range of price points from the outset.
I was at the same GDC panel and it did seem like it had alot of content and uses a port of the Gamecube Crystal Chronicles engine. I can see why normal digital distribution buyers may feel this is alot of money, since most other games are well below this in price, but in all reality, this is less than half the price of most DS games *shrug* I guess having a physical copy is worth something to people too. I am looking forward to this and other WiiWare titles coming out there... right game-boi *wink*
$10 and I'd be totally sold. At $15, I'm going to have to be convinced it's worth it.
Okay, that seems fair price, but the real question is.... how much HDD will it take up on the little 500 MB that the Wii carries?
Square rarely even releases GBA games that are 3 times larger then most GBA games.
