Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword Goes Gold, NYC Launch Party Planned
Tecmo has sent word that the Nintendo DS incarnation of their Ninja Gaiden series has gone gold and will be in stores for a March 25 release date. I tend to run hot and cold with the NG series, but I'm curious to see if the game controls as well as everyone seems to say. Besides, I haven't held my DS like a book since Hotel Dusk last year.
As if bringing out the game wasn't enough, Tecmo and Nintendo are also co-hosting a launch party at the Nintendo World Store on March 26. The event, which will run from 12-4pm, features demos of the game and an appearance by Dragon Sword producer/director Yosuke Hayashi, who will stick around for photos and autographs throughout. Plus hopefully a ton of fanboys dressed up as ninjas will show up. I love those guys.
