PAL New Releases Of The Week 17/03/08

Last week's releases weren't really anything to gawk at, apart from of course the excellent Wii Title No More Heroes. Thankfully things seem to be picking up for the second last week of the month, with plenty of titles to keep you busy while on your easter egg-induced sugar high weekend. DS and Wii fans in particular will be nicely surprised.
My top pick for this week is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring Of Fates (DS) hits our shores, helping with the steady flow of RPG's that seem to be going around. I don't know if I'll pick it up till my friends have, since it's a title that's best enjoyed with co-op, but it's a pretty decent title regardless for the DS.
Battalion Wars 2 (Wii) marches it's way in with some RTS fun. I never got around to playing the first one, but what I hear it's fun, if a bit short, this entry included. Thankfully the ability to play over WFC helps extends the reply value.
Other notable games this week include the totally adorable Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol (DS) (thankfully we're not stuck with one choice of retailer on this one unlike the US), the gritty Condemned 2: Bloodshot (PS3,360), brush up on your squad based tactics with Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (PS3,PS2,360) and Bomberman Land (Wii) is the perfect way to have fun with a few mates over the weekend. Happy easter all and go easy on the eggs!
Other Games:
CSI:Hard Evidence (Wii)
King of Clubs (PSP)
Mr.Bean (PS2)
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer (DS)
Naruto: Ninja Destiny (DS)
Star Trek: Conquest (DS)
The Spiderwick Chronicles (PS2, PC,360,DS)
World Championship Poker Featuring Howard Lederer: All In (PS2, Wii, PSP)
Fish Tycoon (DS)
Jumper: Griffin's Story (Wii)
Nancy Drew: Deadly Secret of Olde World Park (DS)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (DS)
[Note release dates are for Australia, and can change at any time so check with your retailer. Helping you avoid disappointment!)

I picked up FF:CC a few days ago and I've been enjoying the single player mode. If you can find friends that's even better, but I think this game is worth the price of admission even if you only play Story Mode or play Multiplayer Mode by yourself.
