Rock Band DLC Sells 6 Million, Adds In-Game Music Store

In a mere three months, armchair rockers have downloaded over six million songs via PSN and XBLA for the ultimate party game, Rock Band. And if that weren't enough, they have announced that this week an update to the game will include an in-game music store.
The store will be accessible from the main menu, and will allow you to view, purchase, and sort all the DLC tracks by Artist, Song Title, Genre, Albums, Pack, and more. Also available will be access to album art, song previews, as well as information about each song. According to the press release, there will also be "additional game features that address many of the popular requests by the gaming community." No word on what exactly these additional features are yet, but any improvements are always welcome.
I'll be sure to bring you a full report on it as soon as I can download the update.
