The Amazingly Coincidental Donkey Kong Painting
Normally I would save this for Fan Art Fridays, but there were so many interesting tidbits about this articular piece that I wanted to post it right away. This piece entitled "The Last Supper" was created by artist Misha for the 2006 I Am 8-Bit show. It was a very popular piece and no doubt you have seen it before.
Now here's where things get interesting... This piece is allegedly now hanging in Christina Aguilera's baby nursery! And if that isn't cool enough, I actually know Misha from New Orleans. And not only do I know her, but I have quite a bit of her amazing tattoo work on my body.
Well, now you can own a print of Misha's piece for your very own. Interested parties should inquire at the Gallery 1988 website. The prints are available for $75 and well worth the price if you ask me.
