We Will, We Will... Not Exactly Rock You

While it may not have taken the world by storm, precisely, Blue Dragon did have an admirable pedigree - not the least of which were producer Hironobu Sakaguchi and Dragon Ball Z designer Akira Toriyama. The game also boasted music by Final Fantasy songsmith Nobuo Uematsu, who gets some brownie points today as Sumthing Else Music Works presented the Blue Dragon Original Soundtrack, available from Sumthing Else digital download as well as iTunes.

I know a mess o' game soundtrack afficionados, having officially become one (I blame Super Timsy for giving me my first taste with the Locoroco soundtrack), and I'm sure some of you periwinkle dragoneers out there might enjoy this one.

Original Music by Final Fantasy Composer Nobuo Uematsu

New York - March 25th, 2008 - Sumthing Else Music Works, Inc., through its licensing relationship with Mistwalker proudly presents Blue Dragon Original Soundtrack. The 2 disc soundtrack album is now available at US retail outlets through Nile Rodgers' Sumthing Else Music Works label www.sumthing.com and digital download service www.sumthingdigital.com and will also be released on iTunes.

Everyone MUST hear the uber-cheesy music that plays during this game's boss fights. The music itself isn't so bad, but the lyrics are what engrish fans live for.

And btw, that song was also used for the boss fights in Shut Up and Jam Gaiden, the Charles' Barkely RPG.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
