What are you playing this weekend?
The question is just what it asks, my friends. If I can wring the GameCube/Wii controller out of Mr. Man's hands this weekend and turn off Super Smash Bros. Brawl (I do like it, by the way), I'll be playing a whole lot of Silent Hill Origins (PS2) on the PlayStation 3. I landed a copy of Insecticide on the DS at EIEIO last week, so I'll be getting on top of that to tell you what I thought of it. More Half Life 2 is on the horizon for the 360 and some Subspace Emissary goodness in Brawl.
That's what I have going on in between concerts and stuff for the remainder of SXSW. What are you playing?

Probably just Brawl because people are being whiny little girls demanding matches with me. Since when was it the most important game ever? I have other interests, you know!
That Silent Hill orly-owl may haunt my dreams...
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and some Apollo Justice. It's gonna be a great weekend!
frontlines and enchanted arms
My new-old-stock Dreamcast arrived today, so I've got a bit of nostalgia planned for the weekend. SoulCaliber and Skies of Arcadia are on tap for the foreseeable future, but maybe some Folklore lovin' for the PS3 if I need some eye candy.
It's pretty wild opening a 10 year old console's box like I just took it off the shelf at EB...
I can't stop cracking up at the picture! Anyways, wasn't silent hill origins released only on the psp?
::after some searching ::
Oh, never mind
I, too, will be playing SHO -- though on the PSP. If the PS2 version has the same key-on-the-staircase/unlimited-ammo unlockable as this one (and why wouldn't it?), I'll have to snag a copy.
Why am I still playing this? Because I got interrupted in the middle by a friend's crisis, can't remember exactly where I am in the game, don't recognize the spot in an FAQ, am too far between save points to want to go back and have been working on the end of a novel for the past six months. I haven't installed the new firmware, upgraded to Skype, zilch.
(Of course, technically, it's now next weekend.)
How does SHO look on the PS3, by the bye?
(If you respond, I hope your answer doesn't compel me to dash out and pick up a PS3. We're in a recession, for moaning out loud!)
I actually came here in search of a PSP LE color preference thread. Sometimes typical gamer sites aren't in tune with my sense of personal aesthetics.
Just finished Bully. Am I the only one who wanted to kiss Gary?
Yesterday i picked up my copy of Bully and sdaid "it's time to take this baby down", so I'm playing Bully on my PS2, and for the PSP... I have Wild Arms XF (but i've read that it's a hard, really hard game, and I'm not THAT into SRPG) and Silverfall.
TheBizcuit: Absolutely not. I found myself searching through guides seeing if it was anywhere near possible.
To answer the question, I'm playing Bully and SH0 at the moment.
Most likely a lot of Brawl as I haven't even touched the surface with that one.
I've finally gotten back into the swing of gaming and Xenosaga Episode II is taking my time.
I'm also hooked on a book *gasp* so I may a lot of reading as well.
