Amazon Having Massive Buy 2 Get 1 Free Blu-Ray Sale
While this isn't exactly game related I figured that many of you out there have PS3s and as such, this would be of interest to you (I'm looking at you Spazgadget!). Amazon is having a huge Blu-ray sale to celebrate the format winning the big war. The deal is, you buy two Blu-Ray Discs and get a third for FREE. The great part of this is, you're not stuck with a crappy selection of titles to choose from. Just on the first page there's some great stuff like Blade Runner, Pan's Labyrinth, Run, Lola Run, 300 and The Fifth Element.

And I'd be glad to pick up some of these titles but.... I already own most of them. Good deal for new PS3 owners though.
I was sad to see only one title I want on that list that I don't own... Damn my unfortunately huge HDM collection!
Have they done this with HD DVD before? Are they going to in the future? I just ordered an Xbox 360 HD DVD Player because it was pretty cheap (under $50) from Amazon.com so now I'm looking for some movies to play on it. Also, does anyone know if it's true that HD DVD movies can only be displayed in their full resolution over HDMI? Because I have an older Xbox 360 that doesn't support HDMI...
