Arkanoid DS Unfortunately Paddle Free
Square-Enix, I commend you for braving the wilds of retro-ports for the Nintendo DS by providing us Westerners with the love that is Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme (Which, by the way, is extremely awesome.), but what good is Arkanoid DS without the paddle controller?
I have fond memories of that sleek, little wheel simply because, in those halcyon days, that standard of input was a rarity, outside of an operational Tempest machine.
Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid DS ship for the US market on June 17 for the nice price of $19.95. At that budget price, it becomes easy for us completionists to rationalize the cost of importing a sweet-sweet spin knob cartridge to compensate for Squeenix's paddle abandonment.
So the paddle isn't coming to North America? [DS Fanboy]

If this is what it takes to get Space Invaders Extreme out here in the states at a budget price, then so be it. IMO the Arkanoid Paddle never really felt that great to me. Meh?
