Echochrome Download-Only In US

Echochrome, which launched in Japan on a UMD for about $40, will be a download-only title when it comes to PSP and PS3 in North America. While the PS3 version has always been a downloadable title, I'm surprised to hear that anyone thought they could make money on the PSP by selling the abstract puzzler.
Don't get me wrong - the Echochrome demo on my PSP gets more action than anything other than Crisis Core, and I would happily slap down a pair of twenties for the full thing - I just can't see that happening in large enough numbers to be commercially viable.
Which is probably why Sony's moving the game to the PSN for North America - the price will be slashed to pieces, I'm sure, but the sales figures should be considerably grander. As Chris Kohler points out, it could also be a nice way to test the PSN's ability to distribute a game that's almost physical-disc caliber. But Kohler's really on the money when he suggests that Echochrome aught to be distributed like a PSone classic: the same game playable on either the PS3 or PSP, bought through just one transaction.

I've been excited for this since I first saw the trailer. I downloaded the Japanese demo of the game and have played it until I got fed up with the couple of levels the demo had.
I would have bought the game on UMD, but from the sound of it it is better suited as a download.
I don't know where to download it though! The PS3? or PSP? Decisions decisions
