GayGamer Week In Review - Week Of 4/07/08

  • Black and white Treasure shooter Ikaruga hit XBLA like an Oreo on steriods.

  • Rumors surfaced about Microsoft adding waggle to the Xbox 360.

  • After a couple of Wii outings, Atlas announced Trauma Center 2 for the DS.

  • Europe will finally get to rock out Wembley style when Rock Band jumps across the pond.

  • Everyone's favorite dandy prosecutor Miles Edgeworth will be getting his own spin-off from the Phoenix Wright series.

  • Folks in the UK can now watch BBC's online programming from their Wiis.

  • K.K. Slider: Devourer of worlds.

  • Square Enix announced their next big project is an adaption of the manga/anime Soul Eater. Any fansub fans check out the show yet?

  • Fruit Brute brought us news straight from the Nintendo Media Summit, including a first look at Super Mario Sluggers. Expect to hear more as a few NDAs expire and Fruit gets his impressions down in writing.

  • Home Star Runner announced Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People, an episodic title for WiiWare from Telltale Games.

  • Disaster: Day of Crisis became a little less vapor, a little more ware.

  • Will we see another DS at E3 this year? With the way the PSP's been selling in Japan, I'd say it's a good bet.

  • Parents don't want boy kissing in their kids' games, but severed heads aren't quite as bad. Depending on the boys, I might have to agree with them.

  • Dan "Shoe" Hsu leaves EGM and Ziff Davis after, oh, just about forever. From his goodbye, it sounds a little like the industry may have poached another good journalist.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
