Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 Confirmed
I love shmups. I love Xbox Live Arcade. I normally do not like shumps on Xbox Live Arcade. The fact of the matter is that the Xbox 360's digital pad is crap; I know it, you know it and they know it. The controller not going to change anytime soon. There have been a few titles that have stuck out: Rez and Geometry Wars for example were built for the wide play analog stick and I appreciate the fact that it's playable. So, I was a little excited to learn that Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 was confirmed in a round about way. The little nugget above was discovered on the Australian ratings board.
Sure it's a little vague and things get submitted to rating boards all the time that never see the light of day, but I'm choosing to be optimistic here.

G? I'm appalled.
This "game" they're pushing at our kids involves a little claw-thing going around shooting other objects! With a gun, no less. And what's your reward for this senseless slaughter? A bigger gun!
Really, think about this. What are violent videogames like "Geometry Wars" teaching our children?
