I Pre-Ordered Wii Fit, And All I Got Was This T-Shirt. Jealous?
As our own esteemed leader mentioned earlier this week, if you are one of the first 1000 people to pre-order Wii Fit at the Nintendo World store in New York City, you get a free T-shirt with Miyamoto's "autograph" on it. So when they started taking pre-orders on Friday, April 18, I stopped by after work to throw down ten bucks and get my reservation... and T-shirt! What Fruit Bruite neglected to mention (it's okay — it wasn't in the press release) was that on the back is a grinning Miyamoto head! And on the bottom is a little Wii Fit Balance Board, for some reason. So the whole thing is all a bit silly. I asked the clerk for an XL, in case it shrinks any, and also with the hopes that after playing Wii Fit for a while, it'll be too big! I've got close-up shots of the shirt below, as well as a really crappy photo taken with my cheap phone's camera of the display of empty Wii Fit boxes next to a couple racks of track jackets emblazoned with the Wii Fit logo and below that, some Wii Fit-brandedyoga mats. Really? Yoga mats? Aren't you supposed to do the yoga on the Balance Board so it can tell how you're doing? Unless the mats are for when you graduate from Wii Fit yoga to the real thing...

I plan on getting WiiFit too, i guess i could use some more excersize. Now if Wootini will demonstrate it in a video wearing nothing... Well i think a ton more people would reserve it.
