Mario Kart Wii Friend Code Round-Up
Unless you've been living in some sort of tiny pocket universe isn't set up for wireless internet access, the latest Mario Kart for Wii launched in North America early this morning. Did you get in on any of the midnight launches? Did you go dressed as a blue shell, causing a near riot among the assembled throng? Being a social butterfly, I had too many other engagements to make it (i.e. I was playing Puzzle Quest in bed and fell asleep by 12:05 am), but I do plan on picking up a friend and grabbing it in about an hour or two.
Those of you looking for some fellow GayGamers to play online, feel free to post your Mario Kart friend codes below, along with any impressions, raves, or rants about the game so far. Love the wheel? Hate the motorcycles? For those unclear on the concept from Smash Bros. or most other online Wii titles, make sure you go to the Wi Fi section of the game to get your Mario Kart specific friend code - the general Wii code just won't cut it. It also looks like the forum's got a thread started for the same purpose here, so check those out at well. Buckle up!

I went to gamestop at midnight to get my MKWii and I have been playing it since. That was 13 hours ago. It is by far the best MK game yet. The classic levels are my favorite. :D You did good, Shiggy. You did good. (Sorry, no FC just yet...)

Bought this game and adore it!!!
My ONLY gripe about it is that the characters themselves are pretty blocky! I mean, you think they'd put more time or effort into making the blocky characters (Bowser and Donkey Kong come to mind) more smooth and detailed, worthy of the Wii's graphics. It felt like I was playing a DS game....
Aside from that (which, for a detail-oriented person like me) huge graphical severe disappointment, the game is spectacular!!!!
I still can't figure out how to play an "all cup" race with 2 players, like in Mario Kart DoubleDash...

The only way I can see getting around that whole "play an all cup race" thing is when you choose "VS," go to "Rules" and set the Courses to "In Order" while keeping the race count to 4. Then when you choose your first stage, just choose the first one in a cup. Yeah, I came across this problem last night. Hope my suggestion helps.
