Matt Damon's Mom Hates Your Games

Matt Damon's mother, Nancy Carlsson-Paige, is a Boston-area teacher and opponent of violence in video games - who recently spoke out against violent games (such as the forthcoming game, The Bourne Conspiracy, I'm sure) in an online chat with the Boston Globe:
Mark__Guest_: Nancy, your son is guilty of promoting violence and making hand guns look cool in his movies. He has also made millions of dollars doing this, what if any advice have you given him? Is it a matter of everyone is doing it, so should I. Or should he select roles where he's not shooting and killing everyone in his path?Nancy_Carlsson-Paige: Adults have different views about violence in films... I believe there is way too much violence in films, promoted often by box office sales that rise the bloodier things get. Matt and I don't share the same views about violence in adult films, but we do see eye-to-eye on the importance of protecting children. We both support regulations to stop the marketing of violence in films to children through violent toys, products, and video games.
Put your support behind ESRB ratings, that's what I say - a little star power drawing attention to the existing ratings system might encourage more parents to use the ratings system and nudge retailers in the direction of being more strict about selling games to minors!

This reminds me of something that's happened recently in the UK, that people have been calling for video games to have movie-style certificates.
The problem is they ALREADY have them, and have had them for a long while. Which shows that people who protest about these kind of things have all the researching ability of a dead slug.
Do none of these "activists" research anything? Last time I looked all games come with some form of rating, and the main demographic that buy and play games are not children.
Maybe this whack job should buy a big thick dildo and pleasure herself, should keep her busy from any other nutty ideas.
How convenient he agrees with her on the thing that isn't making him any money. Matt Damon, my likelihood of watching your next film just dropped a significant amount.
I actually think this would be an awesome idea, for once having the stars advocate parenting. I mean, they're doing it for Africa and AIDS...
