New Game Releases For The Week Of 04/14/08

Lots of new titles this week although there are only a few really worth mentioning. The main game for this week (in my opinion) is a re-release: Okami for the Wii. While Okami was critically acclaimed and beloved by those who played it, Clover's next-to-last effort was overlooked by most consumers and didn't sell very well. I'm hoping that this Wii version will change all that and the game will sell a million. If you haven't yet checked out Okami, do yourself a favor and pick it up. It's got great Zelda-like gameplay and an art style that is to die for. At only $40 it's a steal and you can buy yours here in the GayGamer Amazon Store.
Okami (Wii)
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3)
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (PC)
Turok (PC)
Europa Universalis: Rome (PC)
The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff (PC)
Summer Sports: Paradise Island (Wii)
Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! (DS)
Emergency Mayhem (Wii)
Final Fantasy XI: Vana'diel Collection 2008 (PC)
Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis (PC)
Major League Baseball 2K8 Fantasy All Stars (DS)
AMF Bowling Pinbusters! (DS)
Rondo of Swords (DS)
High School Musical 2: Work This Out! (DS)
Cory in the House (DS)

I've got Okami reserved so my kids and I can play it (well, play it again - we rented the PS2 version awhile back).
But Rondo of Swords is looking tempting. I mean - it's from Atlus. And - it's from Atlus. And - it's a strategy RPG.
And it's from Atlus.
Not that ANYONE cares but the Vana'diel Collection came out for xbox360 and ps2 also.
