News From The Nintendo Media Summit
I am currently writing this from my iPhone, so pardon the brevity and any misspellings! I do have some early news I can share with you live from the Nintendo Media Summit:
Announced today was the US release for Mario Super Sluggers, a Mario themed baseball game previously only announced for Japan. The game will utilize controls based on the Wii Sports baseball controls. Hopefully they will be improved since I found the Wii Sports baseball controls to be the clunkiest of the bunch. Included of course were a ton of Mario characters to choose from including Baby Luigi and Birdo.
Next we saw a bit of Wii Fit which has become far more interesting to me now than when I saw it at E3 last year. This will be force to be reckoned with!
Lastly we saw quite a bit of the new Pokemon Dungeon game for the DS. It will be a great title for Pokemon and dungeon crawler fans and contains a ton of new elements that are too many to list here. Look for more information on this coming soon.
And now I must go and start getting some hands-on time with these games so I can bring you all the details next week.
