PlayStation Store Update 04/25/08
Plenty of goodies are up at the Playstation Store for all to grab. As Tiny Dancer mentioned earlier, the first full album coming to Rock Band for the PS3 is the Judas Priest's album Screaming for Vengeance and is now available for download by individual song or full record ($15). At the same time the much talked about Echochrome demo is now hitting the U.S. shores this week for free and available for both the PSP and PS3. Rock fans will also be happy to hear that this week Guitar Hero III is releasing three Def Leppard songs for download. One last item worth mentioning is that of The Eye of Judgment: Biolith Rebellion 2 expansion set that is being released this week ($15) which adds over 100 new creatures and spells to the possible deck. Overall it seems that the Playstation Store is pretty stacked this week (probably so it will turn some heads at the beach this weekend). Hit the Jump to see the full list.

I was looking forward to Echochrome, but the demo has dissuaded me. Although the high-concept Etcheresque game looks like it might be a new mind-bender, like Portal, it frankly doesn't play very well.
Early on in the development cycle they should have realized a lot of its failings and retooled the whole thing. Instead we get pretentious shovelware.
