PSP Slim Dual Analog Stick Mod

psp-dual-sticks.jpg

My only major remaining hardware complaint with the PSP is one that isn't really possible to solve: the lack of dual analog sticks. It still boggles me: the PSP is designed to almost flawlessly sew the age-old DualShock controller setup together with a beautiful screen - why, then, would they hamstring the system's input by splitting up the time-honored dual analog stick input schema?

For good enough reasons, I'm sure. But it's definitely nice to see the Razor X mod from LordNico, which boasts a user-installable analog stick that mimics the function of the four face buttons - in other words, it doesn't seem to add that crucial second analog stick input bit, but might be awesome in situations where the face buttons have been used to make up for the lack of the second half of the dual analog stick team.

Specifically, I'm thinking Me & My Katamari, where using the face buttons as a de-facto second stick is both annoying and unpleasantly difficult. A second stick, even one that just maps the face buttons, would provide a much more natural way to play the game. I'm sure there are others - any suggestions?
