Phoenix Wright Side Story On The Way? 20% More Dickie
We've all wanted some Gumshoe/Edgeworth action in the Phoenix Wright series. Seriously, how can one not see that at the very least the detective has a serious man-crush on the guy. Well, if the information is correct, then we may just see that. Hopefully (Please?).
According to user Error on the Neogaf forums in his usual round up on what's shaking in the Japanese gaming media, he has revealed Perfect Professor, a supposed spin off of the popular Ace Attorney series.
Not much information has given at the moment (even the game's existence I really highly doubt) other than the fact that you control the man with the legendary dickie, looking for inconsistent or overlooked evidence. It sounds like the emphasis here will be in the point and click portions (which have always been my favorite part) rather than the usual court cases. Dick Gumshoe is also said to be a major character.
It'll be interesting to see if any more information comes to bear within the coming months. It makes perfect sense; All it needs is some conveniently placed mishaps of a certain nature. Any objections?
UPDATE: Well, it's true, so let's all rejoice! A scan from famitsu has been leaked onto the interwebs confirming it's existence. Let's hope it get localized!

From the screenshots it looks like you are going to be able to move Edgey-poo's sprite around the crime scenes which is pretty cool. I just hope this game doesn't make the PW timeline too much more complicated than it already is.
