Rumorama: Paper Mario DS?
As rumors go, this one is pretty sketchy. An entry on Ruliweb.com (which is hopelessly beyond my ability to read) lists Paper Mario for a DS release in July.
Yep, that's all anyone can find on it, and Nintendo is no where to be found to either denounce or confirm this. Given the possibility of the series, and how port happy developers are with the DS, it would not shock me in the slightest to see it happen. The real question is where is the hype train?

I'd be all over it if it was an original game in the series, but as a port, no thanks. VC has this one covered.
If it's real and it's a remake, not a port, I'd buy it. Otherwise... I can already get it on N64 and Virtual Console. I don't exactly need it on the go.
Nintendo seems to be hesitant to release remakes/ports when they already have a game on the VC, so it's likely that this would be a new game... provide this information is true.
I imagine we'll see a Paper Mario DS eventually, if not in July. Maybe a nice E3 announcement. Remember a couple years ago they said "Star Fox DS!, comes out next month!" and everyone was like "Wait, what? It's done? I didn't even know about that!" I could see that happening here.
Imagine all the cute things they could do with our favorite foldable plumber... Pencil = Stylus. Pencil and paper? Ah? Oh the possibilities are endless!
