Rumorama: Star Ocean: First Departure In The US?

ZOMG!

I know there has been some speculation around a registered trademark for the two remake titles for Star Ocean on the PSP. Trademarks are hardly confirmation, most game companies register trademarks simply to prevent someone from elbowing in on their name when they are not looking. But something new has surfaced on the Star Ocean front.

GameStop has a mysterious placeholder release of Star Ocean: First Departure set for September 30th. Sweet zombie Jesus say it is so! Again, no official word from square. This is one of two Star Ocean titles that has never been released in the US (the other a gameboy color title).

My ear is to the ground on this one folks. How I love you Tri-Ace.

Please let it be true! I tried to play it on an emulator years ago with a partial translation patch, but not being able to understand what items did what got me killed fast. However, I played enough to see that it was a game I'd really love to play if ever released in English.
