Sadness May Soon See The Light

Announced way-y-y back in 2006 for the upcoming "Nintendo Revolution," Sadness has seen it's fair share of setbacks and doubts. After Polish developer Nibris promised an actual gameplay trailer to drop by the end of 2007 and then failed to deliver, most of us permanently slotted the game into vaporware territory.
Suffice to say, Sadness is back, and it's looking strong. While still rocking the same black-and-white monochromatic look (and reminding me heavily of Terminal Reality's Nocturne with a splash of Yuriy Norshteyn-style animation), the team has adopted a Wii build of the Gamebryo engine, the stunner used for Morrowind, Oblivion, Civilization 4, and soon Fallout 3.
Relying more on paranoia and dread than being a conventional bloodfest, Sadness may quickly fill the place left by distressing first-person titles that rely on an unnerving environment similar to Kenji Eno's Enemy Zero.
Here's hoping that progress continues undeterred, and that more media will arrive soon!
