Sonic Unleashed For Wii To Be Different?

As the summer months and gaming bazaars E3 and PAX creep ever closer, juicy details on Sega's Sonic Unleashed seem to be drifting in intermittently. In a recent interview between Play Magazine, Sonic Team Producer Yoshihisa Hashimoto, and Sega of America Producer Patrick Riley, a few new, substantial details were revealed about their closely watched project.
- The game play for Sonic Unleashed features a 50/50 blend of seamless 3D and 3D side-scrolling game play.
- The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Sonic Unleashed will be using the Hedgehog Engine, whereas the Wii version is not.
- The Wii version is being handled by Dimps, the producer for the Sonic Rush and Sonic Advance series.
- The Wii version differs in overall stage design and controls. So much so, that, "Real fans of the title that have a Wii and a PS3 or 360 might consider buying both, since the stages will be quite different."
- Even though the Wii version will be different, Dimps is working toward graphically matching the quality of the Hedgehog Engine.
- Sonic Unleashed features a delicate balance of speed and platforming game play.
- Composer Tomoya Ohtani from Sonic Rush and Nights: Journey into Dreams will be functioning as the sound director.
Considering that Sonic Rush is probably the best example of a modern, enjoyable Sonic title, I'm eager to see how Dimps handles the content for the Wii build. If Dimps plays their cards right, and skimps on the waggle, they may end up producing the better of the two versions.

As long as I'm not having to twitch the Wiimote to attack enemies (when hitting a button would be both more intuitive AND more precise) I'll consider the Wii version. As it is, I'm more interested in the 360 version.
(hopes that the game is good, and that it includes a Japanese voices option)
Am I the only person that liked The Secret Rings? If they made something that combined the on rails design with the side scrolling (Rush styled?) levels they're talking about, I would be in heaven.
On the subject of language option, I want a "no language" option. Let's face it. Sonic's English voice acting is terrible. Sonic's Japanese voice acting is less terrible, but still bad. Why not return to the roots of the series and have no spoken dialog, but tell story through extremely short, in-game pantomimed scenes between levels (a la Sonic 3)?
Also, please, Sega...no more furry bait.
Okay, if the two games will virtually be so different that you will want to buy both, why the hell give it the same game title? They should market it as different games otherwise people will just buy the one version.
