Uwe Boll Puts A One Million Signature Bounty On His Head

Uwe_Wanted.jpg

Our post tonight is a message of urgency, and comes to you from forum member Kamilumin. As has been reported here on GayGamer.net time and time again, Uwe Boll is somewhat of a 'douche' and has a horrible track record with game related movies. His most recent 'masterpiece' was Postal which didn't get the best of reviews, and many people are very worried as to what he'll do with his next film, Farcry. Add to the less than spectacular reviews of his long list of movies, he also adds a rather crass and confrontational nature to his critics, the highlight being the time he challenged critics to a boxing match, and followed through with it.

With all of this there is no wonder that the man has a few (okay, MANY) gamers angry with what he seems to be doing to the games, flim, and especially games made into films; I mean I thought public defecation was a crime in this country. With this ire in mind, in a recent interview, FearNet decided to mention to Uwe Boll that they had a a petition with over 18,000 signatures asking him to stop making films.

Boll responded that "18,000 is not enough to convince me." So how much would be enough? "One million," Boll said.

So there you go, Uwe Boll has basically place a bounty of one million signatures on his head. I'm sure he thinks of it as a bold move and also as a chance to get some more free, cheap, and easy publicity; however, for many of you out there, all alone in the dark (sorry, bad pun, I know), this message seems like a ray of hope. So get up and make your voice heard by signing the petition, and then maybe, just maybe, we won't have to suffer through another d-grade movie by the likes of Uwe Boll again. All that said, I for one can't wait to see how he tries to weasel his way out of the whole thing if they do get one million signatures.

I signed as well, though something tells me, even if this does reach a million, he won't stop.

this man makes my blood boil. Not only does he make terrible terrible films, but this man is making far too much money for doing it. I'm sure my big toe could produce the next big video game movie and make a fortune and be more deserving of it.

***NEWS FLASH***
My big toe got hired as the director of Worms. Apparently all of my toes will have bit parts and Sandra Bullock in the lead role.

People complain about Uwe Boll making movies. Really If you don't like his movies don't go see them. Why take away the guys Livelyhood. I don't like the girl who serves me Mocha's at the coffee shop in the morning for mannnyyy reasons, but I'm not sending around a pettition to have her fired.

Brandon said:

@Ed: Thats cause Boll intentionally makes bad movies, and he takes away chances from someone who might be good from making it.

@Brandon
First I have yet to see ANYONE make a good video game to movie movie LOL. Second One name: Ed Wood. Should people on the internet destroy him for intentionally making bad movies. Third, I don't see anyone punisheng the makers of 'Cloverfield' and I really don't care what the fanboy's of that movie say, it was a total crap-fest, but there was still a following of people who liked it. My piont Old Uwe is doing nothing more than what many other bad directors have done before him, and if you really think he's taking work from other diserving directors your reading wayyyy to much hollywood hype.

Signed, #147439. In the time it took me to click the link, fill out the petition and then check back at the site to find my number for this comment (under five minutes), 70 more people had signed the petition. Wow.

But Ed Wood is making bad B-Movies, the kind you'd probably find on MST3K, but Boll seriously thinks he's making good movies, when what he's making is complete crap, and besides, even if he is intentionally making bad video game movies, all thats going to do is piss off the video game fans.

I know I'm none to amused with his Postal movie, and well, he really needs to quit.

Uwe Boll and his films are so utterly scrawny and pathetic, they demands to be destroyed beyond the power of memory to recall their existence.
