Vote For Shigeru Miyamoto In The Time 100

Last year Shigeru Miyamoto managed to pop onto Time magazine's list of the 100 Most Influential People for the first time, and now it's up to you to help him stay there or drop him like a stone. Well, really you personally are probably not going to make much of a difference either way, but if Korean pop star Rain can have an entire nation inflating his numbers, I think a few gaming blogs can try and rig a few extra votes for Mario's dad.
This years ballot points out that Miyamoto still has an active hand in game development, naming both Super Mario Galaxy and Wii Fit as his most recent accomplishments. In last year's profile, pro-gamer Kevin "Fatal1ty" Wendel had this to say about the man:
By making video gaming accessible and fun for people like my grandma, Shigeru Miyamoto, 54, head of the Wii design team, has opened the world I live in every day to people who never even wanted to visit it before. He showed us that video games are for everyone, something social and active that brings people together.
Maybe if he makes it again this year, they'll find someone without a number in his name to write the article.
Currently Miyamoto sits at 3rd on the rankings, between Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report and John Stewart of The Daily Show, and all three have an average rating of 69. Comedy Central should take note. For the curious, last place on the list is Rhonda Byrne, creator of The Secret. Maybe she should think a little harder about moving up a few spots.
Miyamoto is the only game specific person on the list, although Xbox Fanboys might make a case for Bill Gates. Even if you're not the hugest fan, Miyamoto is a pretty good representation of the industry, and a nice face to counter the charges that gamers are all just perverts and sociopaths.

Sigh, I already voted for Stephen! I'll attempt to put a vote in for Miyamoto as well.
Who the hell is Rain, and why is he number one?
Correction: Shiggy's number one now! :D
Nick Dynmo:
Whoa, he's beating Rain? Man, Internet sure moves fast. I'm not going to update the story right now since I'm sure that a nation of Koreans are just about to wake up and turn the tables again, but it's good to know, thanks!
I don't know how to vote... :( I've looked everywhere on many pages and can't find any button or link to do so!
MME: From the link at the bottom of the article, click on the name of the person you'd like to vote for in the box that has the list of nominees. Then on the brief bio page, there is a slider right under his or her name that lets you choose how influential a person is, from 1 to 100. Drag the arrow in the middle of the slider to the number you want to choose, 100 being most influential, 1 being least.
Colbert's back on top, this is quite amusing. :)
