Blizzard Nabs Diablo3.com
Diablo enthusiasts take note, today marks Blizzard taking ownership of Diablo3.com. While it was once a fan site, apparently Blizzard wanted the domain and the owners gave it to them.
Well, there's no point in beating around the bush any longer, so let's get right down to it. A few months ago we were contacted by Blizzard in regards to the Diablo3.com domain name. While they appreciate all the work that's been put into running this big Diablo fan community over the years, they still want the domain name. Hmm, I wonder why?
Indeed. The internet has begun buzzing that this may foreshadow the eventual announcement of the long awaited Diablo 3. Blizzard is remaining mum about it, but that doesn't stop the speculation. As for the fan community at Diablo3, they are moving over to Diablofans.com.
Diablo3.com becomes Diablofans.com! Blizzard acquires diablo3.com. [Diablofans.com]
