Details On DS RPG 'Infinite Line'

I am salivating over this one, Platinum Games, which we mentioned earlier today is partnering with Sega and is made of former members of Clover, has released some details on one of its first games. Infinite Line, a sci-fi themed RPG for the Nintedo DS.
The game is built around two key concepts: Players command (1) a "highly-customizable" spaceship through (2) a "large and expansive" world that encompasses two galaxies. The team has prepared over 150 ship models, as well as more than 150 potential crew members that can be stationed around the ships. The insides of the crafts are modular, so players can place the bridges, engineering rooms, fire control rooms, etc. as they see fit.
I have lost entire weekends to games that allow customized spaceships, just editing layouts. The idea of rearranging everything in the ship, including crew, as a strategic mechanic, gives me goosebumps. I am eagerly looking forward to more information about this game.
Screenshots will apparently be released soon, hopefully as pretty as the Homeworld-esque concept art here.

OMG!
Ohmygod, I can't wait. This looks amazing.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, this could spell the turnaround for Sega who just stopped producing good games right about the time of the Dreamcast, face it, every 3D sonic games has blown, Space Channel 5 was good, Crazy Taxi was good for 10 minutes, twice, the new Nights was lousy, Universe at War is a poor mans Supreme Commander, Iron Man is crap, Sega Tennis is terrible.
Condmemned, Medieval and Virtua Tennis are practically the only good things they've put out this decade, Even then they're not genre bustingly awesome, which is a shame, remember when Sega were a powerhouse?, I do, I miss 2D Sonic and it's obvious greatness and House of the Dead.
Also, I share the same obsession with making space ships, I've lost days making ships in games like Darkstar One and Starship Creator, there's just something amusing about a ship with 800 Phaser Banks been captained by the borg queen.
This game will rock, don't suffocate them Sega, seriously, they're not the Sonic team, they can be creative in 2008. My DS needs some new flash cart friends, I've just about topped Tunguska, hell I may even buy this game if it turns out well.
Holy cow, I had no idea this was an RPG! I was expecting a Gradius-style shooter, which really isn't my thing. You guys have just made my day!
