Edible Mario Mushrooms!
These Super Mario Mushroom Cookies won't make you grow to giant size or give you the ability to throw fireballs, but they're darned cute, and you'll at least get some kind of sugar rush off all the frosting!
Like most of the treats on Snack Or Die, these cookies are clever, adorable, and somewhat difficult to make. I know that all the recipes are laid out step by step and even include tons of helpful photographs, but they all just look so overly complicated! I know if I ever tried this recipe, they would never look anywhere near this accurate. I could also call foul on using pre-made pound cake as the circular base of the mushroom, but when it turns out looking so great, I'm willing to let it go!
