Gallery: SFIV's El Fuerte & Rufus Revealed
Capcom doesn't do anything by halves, and they proved it today when they unleashed an insane amount of Street Fighter IV screenshots. Like, nearly 200 of them. So I had to do some editing or risk my eyes bleeding out of my head staring at my computer screen as I posted them all. But I promise it's all the highlights as you get your first look at rolly polly Rufus and some more shots of masked hottie El Fuerte. I love the facial expressions — they're hilarious. As is El Fuerte's special weapon that looks like a fajita skillet. (Although one of the screens makes it look like El Fuerte has some kind of special fart attack). They're all after the jump!

Thinking I'll like Bob more than Rufus haha
Rufus looks JUST like the pudgy guy from Little Britain. He looks just like that female teenage british white trash character that he plays, even down to the jumpsuit.
The came looks cool in pictures but the videos I've seen have left me wondering. Come one Capcom, don't give us another crappy title a la "Street Fighter The Movie" game.
As far as Rufus goes, I can hold off on video. I'm quite happy to go through life without seeing the bounce of his Robotnik-esque belly in motion, much less it being mashed up against Ryu and Ken.
It's like Tweedle Dee and Humpty Dumpty had a baby, and no one loved it because it was fat.
ed: I think they pretty much guaranteed a crappy game the minute they went with polygons instead of sprites. These new characters are NOT helping my impressions of the game.

No self respecting luchador would ever call himself 'El Fuerte' or wear something that plain and unimaginative. Way to spend less than five minutes thinking up your characters Capcom.
