GTA IV Sets Another Record; This Time With Guinness!
It looks like the Grand Theft Auto IV behemoth is continuing to trounce the competition. Amongst it's many other accolades, Guinness Book is now announcing that GTA IV is the Highest Grossing Video Game in 24 Hours and the Highest Revenue Generated by an Entertainment Product in 24 Hours. This also puts GTA on the top of the pile as the most profitable entertainment release of all-time. Pretty amazing stuff.
To reach these lofty goals, GTA IV sold over 3.6 million units and made $310 million in it's first 24 hours. Take that Halo 3!
