In a sign of good will between the United States and South Korea, Bill Gates and Microsoft have designed and manufactured 100 special edition Xbox 360 consoles bedazzled with a medium gloss finish and genuine mother of pearl inlays. Receiving one of these limited units on May 6 will be South Korean president Lee Myung-bak (이명박) at the official office of the president, Cheong Wa Dae (청와대).
Designed to represent peace, the inlay features traditional ume blossoms and butterflies in a serene moment of harmony. With such a limited production run, I feel as if I should brush up on my hangul should I ever hope to see one.
