Nintendo Channel Has Gone Live
That's right kids, the Nintendo Channel is officially online, so you should all be rushing to your Wii to download it. Included in this release is the ability to demo the following Nintendo DS titles:
- Brain Age 2
- Flash Focus
- Crosswords DS
- Jam Sessions
- Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
- Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends
- Disney Friends
- Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword
Be forewarned, the download is around 120 blocks. Hopefully you all have an SD card to backup all your Virtual Console downloads, because this thing is a doosie.

This morning when I downloaded the channel I had to have 120+ free blocks for the channel, but you then have to have an additional 126 to even run it. So really you are looking at closer to 250 (assuming the downloads work like VC where you get a few blocks back after installation).
Still though this channel has mega potential, and I can't wait to try out the demo downloads after work. They weren't running when I installed this around 4am central.
I tried this out this morning and it works really well. It's quicker to find VC games through this than the shop channel, and the videos load super quick. I hope that they keep adding new stuff this channel, it's got a great start.
