No Wii-kly VC Update This Week; Welcome, Wii Ware
As you may already be aware, there is no Wii Virtual Console update this week so that we may welcome the arrival of Wii Ware, Nintendo's answer to original downloadable game titles. The Virtual Console updates will begin anew next week but until then you have six new Wii ware titles to keep you busy including the amazingly cute Lost Winds and the unassuming but highly addictive Pop. I did download Final Fantasy: My Life as King. It is really pretty and worth the $15 in my opinion because the graphics are just so classy. I don't miss battles and fighting, but I'm also the guy who likes empire building games like Age of Empires and Civilization.
I've been playing "Defend Your Castle" all morning. I get a sick sense of satisfaction out of making cute lil stick figures go *splish* when I drop them from the sky.
