Rumorama: Nintendo Not Invited To The Street Fighter IV Party?

Image of sumo wrestlers holding crying babies

If the website for Capcom's European branch is to be believed, Street Fighter IV, undoubtedly one of the largest titles launching this year, will be arriving on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in Winter of 2008. Note that this roster includes everyone except the Nintendo Wii.

While the Wii should be capable of running Street Fighter IV, perhaps this list alludes more to Capcom's method of distribution for the title. Long suspected to be a download as opposed to a tangible release, the storage constriction of the Nintendo Wii would obviously preclude the chances of launching. Perhaps Wii gamers will still be a part of the party, given that Capcom justifies an eventual retail launch for the system.

Then again, this is all speculation, for it could be awhile before Capcom lays out any further details.
