He forgets that his movies are just as empty as those Hollywood movies he seeks to denounce. Except those movies actually have a polish to them that Uwe can't touch. Because he doesn't put any effort into his films! Obviously.

I'm not going to feel bad for this clown. In the end everything is business, everyone wants to make money, and we're all part of that lovable monster known an capitalism. This douche is only interested in making profit, which is why he spends most filming days on the phone with investors rather than actually directly. What an idiot.

I too am going to give Uwe Boll the recognition that *this* time he took a broad chance making a "controversial" film...However that does not change the fact that his previous movies were bashed for being horrible, awful, poorly written, poorly filmed atrocities. He's been trying to take advantage of the "video game movie" business to compete with the "comic-book movie" business that's running rampant making millions of dollars.

If he wants to be regarded as a solid, respectable, person in the movie industry than he needs to make quality, non-licensed out, movies of his own accord. He needs to earn the respect of the market he seeks to sell to as well.

I sincerely hope that this finishes his career, and that he moves on to something better. I can only wish good luck to him in the future, but clearly his post means that's coming to the realization that he just doesn't have what it takes to succeed.

You know, if you ignore the fact that this was posted by oweboll, that his idea of a deep movie is a movie based in a videogame, that he can't even direct a sinkin ship to go down, that everithing he touches turn into crap, that he has the mnd of a 12yrs old, that Postal is just one of a number of pices of crap made by the monstruocity that is puting this guy behind a camera... If you ignore aaaall of this, he is kind of sorta right about hollywood.

But this is Boll so this is completly pointles for his movies are just another of the hollow movies made by the hollywood machine.

I personally am appalled that Uwe Boll has the guts to play the "you don’t know art" argument when his movies are anything but art. His films are not about social commentary but about crude, stupid jokes that wish they could be like South Park but fall short of that low target. I find his movies disgusting. I find him despicable.

Aw it's so cute that he thinks his movies are different. He's like a little goth kid who is SO unique because he wears black clothes and eyeliner. Boll's movies are crap and so are many Hollywood movies, but only Boll's movies are ALWAYS crap.

Sometimes I wonder how certain movies get made (Transformers), but the fact that confuses me much more is that anyone let Uwe Boll make more than one movie. I have no idea who is fronting movies made about not-that-popular games by a director who has no idea what he's making a movie about.

Am so sick of the Uwe Boll crap. Uwe Boll, and Cake I can do without hearing about for five years now.

Awful. Just awful. I love how he slams every Hollywood or mainstream movie by pointing to easy targets. And Hell: Iron Man was actually fantastic! So even when he tries to point at obviously crappy movies he still manages to lump the good with the bad.

But then again- maybe that is yet another hint at the depth of this man's hilarious ineptitude: he's so awful he can't distinguish between good and bad.

But seriously Uwe, if you ever read this (doubtful, but why not): people aren't choosing the regular Hollywood schlock over your films because they think Hollywood schlock is amazing, or deep, or even credible. They are choosing even the worst Hollywood has to offer because even Hollywood's vapid void of CG is a thousand times better then the best you have to offer. Transformers held more depth and political poignancy than all your films combined, and then some. And Transformers had NO depth whatsoever! So you can imagine . . . . I think you get the point.

Your films are simply inept, exploitative, and a whole lot less fun to watch than the crappy-ass movie Speed Racer, or the potentially horrific Hulk. Get it through your head and stop blaming random sparkles and shadows- YOU ARE AWFUL. There isn't a single redeeming quality to any of your films. The acting, the script, the editing, the film quality and cinematography are all crimes against movies and movie lovers everywhere.
