Clock Tower and Onimusha Films Dated. *Throws Confetti*
I'm not a huge fan of Onimusha. I think it's a fun enough game, but I don't scrable to GameStop every time a sequel is released. Fans, however will be excited to know that Capcom sent out a save the date for both Onimusha and, my personal favorite, Clock Tower. Clock Tower will is set for a 2009 release, Onimusha for 2011.
Ok, so neither of them is coming out tomorrow, but I'm stoked either way. Lets just hope it's better than some of the j-horror I've been forced to watch.

Are these going to be Japanese made?
I hope so, because I can't see them working if they're American made.
Well I can kinda see Clocktower working if they go for the Japanese like atmosperical type horror they ripped of with The Ring and all those other Japanese rip-off films Hollywood made.
Onimusha needs to be made at the very least with Japanese actors and preferably in Japanese language. Though I think it would almost certainly need the budget of a big Hollywood movie.
I heard Clock Tower was going to be based on the second game, which I am kinda sad about. I liked the first game much better but it only had about 15 lines of actual in game dialogue.... and you fought a monstrous baby thing (that was cool!)
Just tell me that its not that idiot Olguin directing clocktower. He gives a bad name to Chilean film makers.
Acutally I heard the Clock Tower movie will be based on the 3rd one. Anyway, I'm excited, Clock Tower is my favorite horror game. I wish the movie was based on the first one though.

Clock Tower is going into a movie by Germany based Senator Entertainment and
release by The Weinstein Co in US.
Christophe Gans is still going to do Onimusha so it will be release in 2011 its financed by Samuel Hadida's Davis Films,Capcom Company and it will be produce by some Japanese film companies,John Collee will write the script with Onimusha creator Keiji Inafune,Yoshida Soda and Noboru Sugimura who died back in 2005 will have his name on the Onimusha film credits.
Takeshi Kaneshiro will reprise his role as Samanosuke alone with other Japanese actors in the film,the film location for Onimusha movie is Japan.
Darkstalkers could go into movies and also a live action TV series if Mortal Kombat movie producers Larry Kasanoff and Threshold Studios to bring the rights
if Capcom get the deals in the future.
The visual effects would be good and loads of techno music for films and TV series.
