Final Fantasy Remix
Now, if you see the black and white image with this post and immediately see your father, then you might need to see a shrink; however, if you see a Bomb and realize that you have a limited amount of time to unload all your Ice magic or face dire consequences, then this post is definitely for you. This (somewhat hypnotizing) image is the cover to the new Final Fantasy music compilation that is coming out in Japan on August 6th called Final Fantasy Remix. Apparently this time the songs are all piano remixes of Famicom, Super Famicom and PlayStation Final Fantasy game music, which frankly has me giddy since I love people tickling the ivories and will always have a soft spot for all of the character themes from Final Fantasy VI. So all you hardcore video game music fans will have to fight this bomb through unloading your monies (ice based money may work best) and importing it come August 6th, cause I'm sure it's going to sell like fiery hotcakes.

For the record, there's no guarantee that the album will be all piano arrangements; the original site claims that the tracks haven't been decided yet, but that it is planned that the album will contain "remixes of NES SNES and PSX era songs and of the arrange version 'Piano Collections' series."
I assume this means that we may see remixes/further arrangements of some of the piano arrangements on the Piano Collections disks, but it's altogether possible that they'll be heavily edited/mixed.
The preview mix of "Liberi Fatali" that they have on the official Square Enix site sounds kinda..... crappy.

I have to disagree, Alex, I think that Liberi Fatali remix sounds great!
this is pure f***ing crap!!! and those who say its good can shit their blood off and die!!! is it good because its from final fantasy!? go listen trance/dance from real artists if u like that kind of music
