Gears of War Retail Disc Gets Upgraded, Discounted
Microsoft has announced that Gears of War is getting an all new updated retail disc at a discount price. Effective June 24, all new Gears of War discs will be sold in a 2-disc version that will contain previously released multiplayer map packs, the Annex game mode, and eight new multiplayer Achievements worth 250 Gamerscore points. As an added bonus, trailers for Gears 2 and other extras dealing with the new game will be available in the new set. And as if that wasn't enough to send you to the game store, credit card at the ready, they've dropped the price to $39.99 for Xbox 360 and $29.99 for PC. More content, lower price. That's what I call a bargain! (Good only in US and Canada)
