GTA IV DLC Coming... In 2009.
Well, those of you itching for more to do in Liberty City will have to wait just a wee bit longer. In a conference call to investors, Take-Two revealed that the episodic downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360 would be delayed from the end of 2008 to the first quarter of 2009. They also added that the delay was because of portfolio balancing, rather than development issues. No information was given about the pricing for the DLC, but I'm guessing we're all going to pony up regardless.
Personally, I'm in no big rush for any DLC for GTA IV. I mean, for crying out loud, I still haven't unlocked Jersey... er, I mean Alderney. (I keep getting distracted by the seemingly endless things to do throughout Liberty City) I'm sure there are plenty of people who might be upset about this news, but I can tell you I'm not one of them!

First quarter 2009 for Take Two is still the fall of this year, with the latest it being pushed back is January. But probably still before Christmas.
It's the first fiscal quarter, not the first three months of a calendar year.
