Limbo Of The Lost Gets Busted On, Well, Everything

Somewhere in all this controversy I saw someone describe Limbo of the Lost as a 'Frankengame'. Nothing could be more accurate as it turns out. The point and click adventure game is being accused of stealing from almost every major PC game in the last ten years.
All this chaos started last week when site GamePlasma reviewed the game, and noticed a striking similarity between several areas in the game and spots in Bethesda's RPG Oblivion. Once the game got noticed, and people took a closer look at its terrible trailers the started to notice other similarities. Lots of them.
The running total now includes The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Unreal Tournament 2003-2004, Diablo II, Thief 2 and 3, a CryENGINE2 Tech Demo, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Painkiller, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth, Hexen and World of Warcraft. In addition, several live-action scenes shown in the trailer appear to be from films such as Spawn and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Oh, and on top of all that game has a character named Cranny Faggot. (This is a UK developer, keep in mind, but still)
Check after the jump for a quick gallery of images comparing stolen visual assets, or just go read the NeoGAF thread. The developers are apparently somewhere on 'vacation' at the moment, but someone is in some serious legal trouble.

Craptastic! Everything about the trailers and this game screams mid-90s CD-only game. I love it.
Holy sh*t! I went a little deeper and this game is absolutely whack. Backgrounds from various shooters and RPGs, on-screen elements from Diablo, video bits from blockbuster movies, even voiceover from Rune. Read the thread people, this may well be the news of the year!!
I read about this a few days ago. I'm glad more photos have surfaced of the plagarism. There is no way in HELL this is a coincidence. Someone is going to get sued about a dozen times. But to be fair, any damages those plaintiffs might be awarded won't be substancial because that game looks so terrible that probably no one bought it. It does look like a crappy 90's CD-ROM game.
