New Eternal Sonata PS3 Details: More Stuff!
Eternal Sonata, last years strikingly beautiful RPG for the 360 is getting a new life on the PS3. Of course, this isn't new news. We've known about it for quite some time, but details have been scarce. Until now.
1Up is reporting that the new version will have two new playable characters (Prince Crecendo and Serenade), several new dungeons and new quests. The story will be get some further exploration as well, taking a closer look at the Agogo forest and Polka's mysterious illness. And if that wasn't enough you'll also get multiple endings, new costumes, new 2D character illustrations and some new music tracks. Whew! That's quite a lot of additions and ones that should convince folks who were on the fence about Eternal Sonata to pick it up for the PS3.

Any word yet on a release date?
I never really understood why they feel that they need to have extra content. It's not going to make any difference to PS3 owners because they never had the game - it's just a nice treat. I'm sure those who wanted it would have bought it anyway especially if they don't have a 360 in the first place.
It's just a way of spitting in the faces of 360 owners because to get those extra content, they would need to buy a PS3. Really really annoys me.

I hear this one isn't as buggy as the 360 version and I have a 360 and I wanted to pick up that one so I think I'll go ahead and shall cause I won't be buying a PS3 for awhile.
I loved this game on my friends 360 so it's nice to see it's getting a s slight face lift for the PS3 I'll def. have to pick it up now for my PS3.

I really hope they make the extra content available to players of the Xbox 360 version. It would be really shitty for them not to.
Am really excited for this game, PS3 needs some decent RPGs and the additional features make a great added bonus, can't wait!
Glad to see this title is still alive. It sort of went silent for a while didn't it...
Never picked it up when I had a 360, so with the extra content and (apparently) better gameplay, I'll definitely check this one out on the PS3.
I just picked this up for the 360 (and enjoying it). I hope they release the extra content for us folks or at least the PS3 version isn't coming out for awhile so I don't feel like I just wasted my money.
