One Darn Expensive Instruction Manual
Stadium Events for the Nintendo Entertainment System is a holy grail for many game collectors. Released only as a test market item in Woolworths stores back in the late 80's, Stadium Events would quickly be gobbled up by Nintendo and relabeled and re-released as the more familiar World Class Track Meet.
With loose cartridges commonly fetching nearly $1500 a pop (the NTSC release, not the PAL release) on internet auction sites, the box and instruction manual must be equally rare, right?
Well, someone seems to think so, because the opening bid for the Stadium Events instruction manual (and only the instruction manual) is premiering at a cool $1,499.95. Hey, shipping is only $5.00. Insurance is included, so you won't have to factor that into the small loan that you'll need to take out.

I had this when I was a kid. The mat, the games, the manual. I have no idea what happened to it, but I probably was frustrated by trying to hop over logs and ended up throwing it out. *slaps forehead*
