PSP Firmware 4.00 - XMB <3 Google

The first and only substantial detail (so far) for the impending Firmware 4.00 for the Sony PlayStation Portable sees Sony warming up to the Google empire. From integrating Google search directly into the XMB (Cross Menu Bar), Sony is looking to expedite the search process much like Springlets have accomplished for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Additionally for Firmware 4.00, video playback from Memory Stick can be speed adjusted.
Keep in mind that Firmware 4.00 is still sitting comfortably with an unknown release date. Considering that 4.00 should offer a major leap in operability, let's hope that a proper PlayStation Portable Store, similar to the revitalization that the PlayStation Network interface for the PlayStation 3 received, manifests in between now and the time for download.
