Rumorama: 360 Hardware Inside Other Tech?

The latest Microsoft rumor is a big one. EGM is running a rumor that gives Microsoft a big E3 reveal: that Microsoft will see its core Xbox 360 components put inside hardware from other companies.
In other words, rather than wondering when Microsoft will refresh the 360 to include a Blu-ray player, we might be better off wondering when someone will build us a Blu-ray player with an Xbox 360 inside! Or a TV, or a refrigerator... okay, not a refrigerator. Probably.
The tip-off comes as part of Microsoft's E3 scheduling, which includes timeslots for "surprise games" as well as a "surprise thing," which EGM's rumor-master Quartermann and the folks at Geekpulp believe could be the aforementioned 360 hardware licensing dealie.
And while we do remember that boom box with a Sega Genesis inside it, I can't help but imagine a whole new year of passing the buck on RRoD issues.
