The Connection Between PlayStation 3 And An Interest In Interior Design
Much has been made of the recent Experian Consumer Research study investigating the interests of self-promoted gaming respondents versus the common consumer. In diving through the multiple frames of PowerPoint porn, one immediate item popped out: PlayStation 3 owners are more interested in interior decoration than Xbox 360 owners.
Part of me wishes to brush off any gay stereotype implied in this research, while the other is determined to host rounds of Monster Hunter Freedom 2 while loitering outside of the nearest DWR or Crate and Barrel.
While hardly definitive of anything in particular, I am eager to see continued research into the demographics of the modern gamer. Who knows, perhaps our GayGamer.net PlayStation 3 adopters are skewing the data?

I think I've found my new tagline for the 360: "Real men don't cry!"
It could be that people who care about aesthetics are just more likely to not buy another grey box. Although the PS3 looks like a George Foreman from the Future, it looks better than the 360.
