Ubisoft Not Done With PSP

ubisoftindia.jpg

Well, Ready At Dawn might be over Sony's sexy little handheld, but Ubisoft still considers the PSP a viable platform. Which is good, because the PSP can always use new games... well, good ones, anyway.

"By way of further clarifying some recent statements made in the press, Ubisoft wants to reaffirm that it strongly supports the PSP, which holds a unique place in the market, addressing dedicated gamers and offering unprecedented power in a portable console," a spokesperson explained.

Ubisoft is preparing to publish around 12 PSP games this fiscal year, "including titles for some of our top-selling brands." Ooh, could that mean a PSP version of Assassin's Creed or the new Prince Of Persia? Or new Tom Clancy or Splinter Cell games? Anything would be fine. Well, as long as it's not PSP ports of Petz Dogz Fashion or Imagine Babyz. Basically no z's, please...
