Weekly XBLA Update - 06/24/08

2604802138_6a74281c09.jpg

The first of this week's two new XBLA titles bears the mind-meltingly cute name of Happy Tree Friends False Alarm, and brings SEGA's Lumpy into 3D as you set out to rescue your pals from various cute disasters. Eye-gougingly adorable and yours for only 800 MP.

The second game this week, Ticket To Ride, is the latest in a string of modern boardgames to be converted into XBLA titles - after the success of Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne, I'm nervously but optimistically awaiting Next Level Games' 800 MP XBLA version.

Rock Band
content for the week is also pretty plush: the Pixies' album Doolittle with fourteen tracks for 1520 MP, or 160 MP apiece.

There's also a 440 MP Weezer three-pack featuring the songs "Dreamin'," "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived," and "Troublemaker." Each song is also available à la carte for 160 MP.
