What's a RIZ-ZOAWD?

Aside from sounding like one of the many vocal effects produced by Chris Tucker's character, Ruby Rhod, in The Fifth Element, or a future lyric from a Snoop Dogg track, Media.Vision's RIZ-ZOAWD (yeah, all caps) is set to revive the legendary Wizard of Oz for millions of Japanese youths via the trusted RPG format. This Japanese maladaption of the Judy Garland classic will probably come to the US, because, if you recall, Media.Vision is better known for their work on the Wild ARMs series.
Now that I notice it, Media.Vision really seems to have a knack for game titles involving the usage of capitalized letters. Then again, it may just be another layer of obfuscation as they scurry to fight off an impending lawsuit from the estate of L. Frank Baum.

I'm actually excited about this XD I haven't seen any RPGs in awhile that I wanted to try.
Seeing how The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie and story, I'm very interested in this RPG take on it. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
Oh my God; this looks fucking adorable.
I've wanted a Wizard of OZ Rpg for as long as I can remember.
The Wizard of OZ is probably my favorite movie of all time... This looks like it could be awesome! Keep us updated!
Media.Vision shouldn't have to worry about being sued by the estate of L. Frank Baum. The Oz books are old enough that they fall in the public domain, so anybody can use the characters/stories. That's why those characters can appear in comics, like "Lost Girls" and "Fables."
